Commissions & Projects
WoodB offer a commissioning service for bespoke furniture pieces, as well as a project management service for fitted furniture. Please contact us for any ideas you wish to discuss with us.
First contact and design:
When you first contact us we will discuss your requirements with you such as function, style dimensions and budgetary contraints. These discussions will ususally entail a visit in order to see the room or setting in which the piece or project takes place.
With your permission we will develop some preliminary design ideas in the form of simple sketches and accompanying timber options, which we will then discuss with you.
There is no cost for this preliminary stage and no obligation to you.
Agreement
If you are happy to proceed further we will produce a more detailed drawing and submit to you a written quotation for the piece or project along with any price options. Any important modifications or refinements can be made at this point and a timescale for making the piece will also be agreed with you.
As confirmation of placing the order we usually request a 25% deposit of the agreed price.
Implementation and completion
We feel it is important to keep you informed of the progress of your projects which is why during production we will communicate with you either by email or by telephone (according to your preference)or by an open invitation to the workshop.
Once complete the piece or work will be delivered to you. The oustanding balance is required upon acceptance.
